Located on the borders of Normandy and the Somme region(Hauts de France), The Bresle Valley Glass region is comprised of 65 companies and employs between 7,500 and 10,000 specialised employees.
This network and its know-how,is the fruit of a tradition going back several centuries to at least 1493 and beyond, of glass mastery, commencing with the production of glass windows for the many churches and Abbeys in the region.
This continuing tradition today allows the region to offer the world’s biggest names in perfumery, cosmetics, wines and spirits, a range of products that are in keeping with the tradition of De-luxe items “made in France”.
The Bresle region produces more than 70% of the world’s production of De-luxe glass bottles as well as making glass tubes for the pharmaceutical and parapharmaceutical markets.
